1. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing Leranis
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our educational mobile application (“Services”), which delivers chapter-based learning experiences, quizzes, and visual information cards across a wide variety of topics.
By downloading, accessing, or using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using the Services.
These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect and use your personal data.
 
2. ELIGIBILITY
By using Leranis, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years old; and

• Your use of the Services complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your country of residence.

Leranis is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
 
3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
To access the Services, you may need to create a personal account with:

• A valid email address

• A password

• Your full name (optional for display purposes)

You are solely responsible for:

• The confidentiality of your login credentials

• All activity under your account

Accounts may not be transferred, shared, or sold. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account for security or policy violations.
 
4. PRIVACY POLICY
We respect your privacy and handle your personal information according to our Privacy Policy.
We collect limited information, including your name and email address, solely for:

• Account creation

• Progress backup

• App improvement through usage analytics

Data is stored securely via Google Firebase, and purchases are managed using RevenueCat. We do not sell your information to third parties or use it for advertising.
 
5. SERVICES & CONTENT
All content provided through the Services — including learning materials, graphics, step flows, quizzes, explanations, and info cards — is the intellectual property of Leranis or its licensors.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Unless expressly permitted by law, you must not:

• Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the Services

• Circumvent access restrictions

• Exploit the platform for unauthorized purposes
   

6. SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS
Leranis offers both free and Premium content. Premium access is available via:

• Monthly subscription

• Yearly subscription

These subscriptions provide access to advanced content and features. Prices are displayed in-app and may vary based on region.
There is no free trial period. All subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store under your Apple ID.

7. AUTO-RENEWALS
All subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing cycle.
Upon renewal:

• The fee will be charged to the payment method linked to your Apple ID

• You may cancel or manage subscriptions via your iOS device’s Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions

Switching plans:

• From Monthly to Yearly: Yearly starts immediately, remaining time from Monthly is forfeited

• From Yearly to Monthly: Monthly activates after current Yearly period ends

• Lifetime (if offered) activates immediately; prior subscriptions must be canceled manually to avoid future charges
   

8. REFUND POLICY
All in-app purchases and subscriptions are governed by Apple’s payment and refund policies.
Leranis does not process payments directly and cannot offer refunds.
We do not provide:

• Refunds after 14 days

• Refunds for partially used subscriptions

• Refunds for unintentional renewals not canceled through Apple settings
   

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Services rely on trusted third parties to operate:

• Google Firebase – secure authentication and real-time database

• RevenueCat – subscription and billing management

We do not include external links, ads, or social integrations (e.g., Facebook or Google sign-in).
Third-party services used are bound by their own privacy and legal terms.

10. USER CONDUCT
You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful, misleading, or exploitative purposes

• Interfere with the platform’s performance or integrity

• Access accounts or data belonging to others

Violation of these rules may result in:

• Suspension or deletion of your account

• Legal action, if applicable
   

11. TERMINATION
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You breach any of these Terms

• Required by law or technical necessity

• Your behavior endangers the experience of others

In such cases, you will not be entitled to a refund. After termination, your data may be deleted from our servers.

12. DISCLAIMERS
Leranis is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee:

• That Services will be uninterrupted or error-free

• Specific learning outcomes or improvements

• That the content is always complete or up to date

You are solely responsible for how you use the information provided.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Loss of data, revenue, or opportunity

• Errors, downtime, or service disruption

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

If you have paid for Premium Services, our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the incident.

14. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Leranis and its partners from any claim or demand resulting from:

• Your use of the Services

• Violation of these Terms

• Infringement of third-party rights
   

15. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be subject to binding arbitration in Istanbul, Turkey, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

16. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may revise these Terms from time to time.
We will notify users through the App or via our website. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent version.
Continued use after updates indicates acceptance.
